www.buglas.com Named after the grass "buglas" the original name of Negros Island before the Spanish explorers Esteban Rodriguez de Figuera and Juan de Aguirre arrived. They saw dark skinned natives and so they called the place NEGROS. Owned and operated by the Oriental Negros Investment Promotion Center (ONe-IPC), Oriental Negros Buglas News Central is dedicated to bringing important news stories on investment, tourism, agribusiness, education and e-services in the province of Oriental Negros Philippines. The Oriental Negros Investment Promotion Center (ONe-IPC) was established by the Provincial Government to give priority to investment promotion as a means of achieving a more dynamic economy in the province.
