Two students from Silliman University in Dumaguete City are
among this year’s delegates to the 12th Ayala Young Leaders
Congress
in February 9 to 12, at the San Miguel Corporation-Management Training
in
Cavite.
Juniors Eunice Crustal Dela Cruz (Nursing) and Jonathan Andro Tan (Physics) from part of the AYLC batch 2010 after they passed the selection process which involved a panel interview with executives of the Ayala Corporation, a Silliman University press release said. Only 80 were selected to compromise this year’s batch from the 150 shortlisted for the final interview. Over 600 students from 133 colleges around the country sent in their applications. Dela Cruz is currently president of the Silliman University College of Nursing Alumni Association, while Tan is the speaker of the House of the Silliman University Student Government. Both are consistent honor students, the press release said. AYLC is a program handled by the Ayala Foundation, Inc. that targets development of young servant-leaders for the country, the press release added. |
