The Great Physician Rehabilitation Center Foundation Inc. (GPRehab) and the province of Negros Oriental have released the list of finalists who will vie for a place as one of the Ten Outstanding Persons with Disabilities- Negros Oriental 2009.
The following 18 finalists were identified after a rigorous screening: Philip P. Villos, Richard L. Rendal, Niel A. Balbuena representing Siaton; Reynaldo A. Tinio and Arturo S. Noble representing Bacong; Felicisimo T. Bantoto from Zamboanguita; Felizardo Bais representing Dauin; Ryan Joseph D. Fontelo from Sibulan; Antonia T. Alejado and Joel O. Ramacho representing Valenica; Ludwig I. Serion representing Vallehermoso; Cherry Joy C. Pedillo and Martin P. Lapuz from Guihulngan; Susan T. Rio representing the town of San Jose; Johnito V. Corregidor representing the city of Bais; Crispin V. Patrimonio, Mary Jane P. Buriol, Romeo R. Tenorio representing Dumaguete City. Final interview/judging is slated on December 1-3. The TOPWD-NegOr is an intiative of GPRehab and the province of Negros Oriental. It seeks to affirm PWDs who have made a significant difference in the Province, as well as empower more PWDs to do their part in effecting positive change in society. Poised to become an annual event, TOPWD-NegOr envisions the shoring up of PWD participation in nation building. (GPRehab) |
