The Negros Oriental Investment Promotions Center (NOIPC) has requested the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) to conduct a development study of the white sand bar in Manjuyod, Negros Oriental. A group of experts from Hydronet Consultants accompanied by representatives from DOST Regional Office made an on-site visit and inspection of the white sand bar recently. |

The province of Negros Oriental will target the rehabilitation of at least 60 hectares of existing coffee plantations under the national government’s program to enhance the country’s coffee industry. Director Nicholas Mate, co-chairman of the Philippine Coffee Board, Inc. (PCBI) met recently with Gov.
